Guess who got really really bored tonight at 1:30 in the morning! I have no idea but I spent my time creating pure art.
I spent about an hour creating what I think is the greatest peice of art ever made. Good enough to make a page about, so I give you

Well I decided to go around my house and find random pieces of junk anyone could find inside their own homes. I went into the kitchen and the dining room and my closet to find a bunch of random supplies from which I will create a masterpiece. Not too many people can say they created a masterpiece in under an hour and a half. I put a sheet on the ground and set up everything neatly on it, here's a pic of the junk (sorry about quality of pics):

What I have here is the main supplies for modern art. It includes this:

Mountain Dew Bottle
Random Cans
Bud light bottle
shiny gold candle
earshot CD (unopened)
ruler
Pencil with fuzzy thing on it
Big empty 12 pack of coke
tissues
markers
tape
paper

Ok so lets get started. In order to create modern art you need to figure out what you are making before you make something, unfortunately
I didn't have enough time to do this so I made up the work of art while I went along.  So what I did was I took the biggest part of the project which will be our base, this is the empty 12 pack, and markers, and paper.

Ok, I drew all over the piece of paper and then just kept drawing on other pieces of paper. I wanted to cover the entire box, this came to me as I was coloring the first piece of paper. I sloppily cut out pieces and put them on all sides and taped them on very quickly to save time. Here is a pic of the work of art so far:

At this point i decided it needed some bright colors so I took sticky paper and taped it onto the top of the box for a bit of color, it looked as good as I wanted it to, so I kept it there. here is a pic:

Now for the cans, I took a bunch of pieces of paper the size of cans of soda and drew all over them, here are the pieces before I drew all over them:

here is the paper perfected after I drew all over them, it looks a bit too good in my eyes:

Now for a fun step, I got to tape them to the cans. This was alot harder than you may think, it turns out all of my sizing was off so I had to cut them again to shape to the can. Then taping them was harder than I could have figured because when I taped I taped directly onto the paper instead of the can so they slipped off. Then I taped them onto the cans themselves and it stayed on just fine.

Now I need to tape it somewhere on the box, i decided the bottom because they kind of reminded me of wheels or something like that. The actual reason if you must know is because i was listening to the muffs and they said "down and below" just as I picked up the box so i flipped it over and taped it on the bottom just as the Muffs instructed me to! heres a pic:

Looking pretty snazzy I might say, i stood it upright and I was shocked at how good I was doing so far in a modern art perspective. Here is a nice pic of it standing up:

Now to do something with that mountain dew bottle. Well of course I used the same theme I had been using this whole time and I took some paper fit it to the size of the bottle, the time was about 2:00 so my brain was forming into mush. I wrapped it around the bottle and taped it as good as I could. Here's the bottle:

Now the hard part, I had to get it onto the Box, I wont go into the detail but it was very hard for me to do so late at night. I have a feeling the sloppiness is a perfect tool in making modern art though. Just a hunch because the way things are turning out, so I taped it to the box anyways. I also saw the Earshot cd and I knew it had to go to use. Not like anyone wants to listen to earshot, so I put it on the end of the bottle and taped it really good. here's a pic of the artful beast:

I took a pic of the time at this point, here ya go:

To finish off the art I put a candle in one end and the fuzzy pencil in the other. If you light the candle I'm sure it will be a piece of art to remember. I am finally complete and its 2:36 and im laughing so hard at my piece of work. I guess I just have the night time giggles. Anyways here's a pic of the final product:

I call it:       The Hopeless Housewife

Well now you know how to make modern art! You can never be bored if you have free time and a good imagination, im sure anyone would love this sitting in there living room or in there dining room. Perhaps a piece to put in the center of the dinner table when you eat a nice meal and you can light the candle.

On that note I would like to say I am selling this piece of work. For only 10 dollars you can say that you have a piece of work straight off of ska-world. People would all want to come to your house and your bedroom (might I add fellas) just to see this piece of work. You can attract anyone into any home if this is in there. How can anyone turn down an opportunity to actually see an authentic piece of modern art done by Iandawg straight off of ska-world.

Right now it is sitting next to my computer on my scanner and I am just loving it, I cant see why anyone would feel differently. So please feel free to contact me if your interested in buying this piece of work youve just seen created. Never forget if your bored just look around your house, you'd be surprised at what you can find!
